TEMPORARY ROLE

Are you looking for a new role or additional work that will give you variety and a sense of achievement?
Due to redeployment we are looking for experienced support workers who have a background in working with children and young people. We have a fantastic organization based in Newcastle and county Durham area who are looking for people to start immediately.


You will be looking after children ages 15-16 with Learning disabilities and complex needs. You will be making sure the service and young people are secure and safe helping them with day to day activities and tasks.

What we`ll need from you:
- Ability to work alone or within a team.
- Ability to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the residents.
- An understanding of challenging behaviour.
- Must have an approachable, proactive and friendly attitude towards work.
- Experience working with Children or Young People.
- A DBS (we can help you apply for one if not)

Shifts will be 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am weekdays and weekends available. Salary starts from £10ph
