Job Description

Need Residential Support Workers Who Work With Children And Young People Only !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for an organisation that Specialises in providing supportive services in a residential setting for children and young people that have emotional behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities.

You will be supporting Young People in Residential Setting with poverty, disability, substance misuse, physical or mental illness, or because of other problems within the family home. This may include arguments and persistent conflict with or between, parents or carers, abuse and neglect, or living with the effects of other problems such as parental, substance misuse, mental health problems, or domestic abuse.

The ideal Residential Support Worker must have a caring patient nature, Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening ability. Also need the ability to work as a team and have the capacity to think on your feet and stay calm in stressful situations. Leadership skills and adaptability imagination and creativity.

To register with BS Social Care you will need a minimum of 2 years` experience working with Children and be able to supply 5 years referencing. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed which is a cost of £50 or if you have one on the update service then this can be accepted.
