Leicestershire Police are looking to recruit for a Child Referral Desk Supervisor to be based at Wigston Police Station in the Child Vulnerability department.
The purpose of the role is to manage a team of administrative staff in providing admin/secretarial support for the child referral desk.
To be educated to `A` Level Grade C or equivalent in English Language or demonstrate working to the equivalent level.
To be able to demonstrate a proven track record in supervising small teams.
To demonstrate sound understanding of the criminal justice system.
To have good, proven secretarial and administration skills, including minute taking.
To be able to demonstrate significant experience in the interrogation of IT systems to produce required management information.
To have worked in a confidential environment where trust is paramount in handling and processing confidential information.
To be able to demonstrate a good level of numeracy, literacy and analytical skills.
Demonstrate ability to use initiative and take responsibility for decisions of organisational consequence.
To have the ability of working effectively in a team.
To have good communication / interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer focus.
To have a working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 1998
