Job Description

We are recruiting for Child Care Workers for provide care and support to children and young people in our client's residential school based in St Helens which cater to boys between the ages of 7 and 19, who display Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. They also provide care for children who have learning disabilities and/or on the Autism Spectrum.

In this role you will provide outstanding care and support to children and young people within a residential setting. The successful candidate will be a team player, understand the importance of commitment, dedication and determination. You will promote good childcare and form positive relationships with those we care for and encourage self-esteem and confidence.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People's workforce or a willingness to work towards this, which will be funded for you. You must be aged 22 years and over due to the ages of the children and young people we care for (this is exempt from the requirement of Equality Act 2010).

The hours for this role will be confirmed at a later date but will be on a 24 hour rota, so flexibility is needed.

This role pays a salary of £17,085- £22,127 per annum and you will be entitled to the following benefits:
