Do you have experience working with children with learning difficulties, mental health and challenging behaviour? Do you have a background supporting children in an educational background? Then read on!

I am working with a National Children's Care provider. They offer stable and supportive environments, DfE registered schools and a therapeutic approach to care.

You will be working in the school supporting children between 7-18 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be supporting children who come from the residential homes as well as day pupils. Building the children's confidence, offering a supporting and safe learning environment is a crucial element to this role.

This will be an ongoing temporary position on a part time basis. Giving us good flexibility allows us to give you plenty of work.

I am looking for someone who has experience supporting children with SEMH and has experience in an educational setting. i am looking for someone who is able to adapt, has good resilience and a genuine desire to help and support these children.

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months experience in care and experience working with children in a professional setting and hold a college or university qualification relevant to this position.

You will also need to have a current DBS registered to the Online Update System. If you don`t have one, I can help you to get this.

£10 - £12 per hour depending on experience + Benefits
