Our client is based in and around Leeds - Roundhay, Headingley & Morley and is based in a residential setting for Children & Young People leaving care.
In your new role you will:
- Assist social workers in the delivery of the service
- Provide transport to service users
- Conduct welcome and inductions for new service users
- Complete basic assessments
- Assist in welfare & NHS issues
- Provide ongoing support and monitoring of the service users
Ideally you will have a DBS on the update service and a full UK driving licence - as this role does include working with vulnerable children.
It is essential that to be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 1 years experience working with children and young people, or alternatively 6 months experience with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. It is also a requirement that you can provide 5 years worth of references, with any gaps in employment accountable for.
The hourly rate of pay is a generous £8.50 per hour with holiday pay to accrue. There is also the option of Adhoc & other temp to perm positions.
