Children and Young Person Support Worker

Job Description

BS Social Care currently requires leaving care support workers to join an expanding team of committed and passionate staff. We are currently looking for outgoing and enthusiastic staff who can provide a fantastic safe service to young adults who have been provided an individual tailored programme to ensure they reach their full potential.

You will be expected to assist with accommodation and housing applications, managing finances, seeking employment, advocacy and accessing and managing education or training, home care skills (Shopping, cooking and cleaning) and managing relationships whilst promoting the independence and identity of every single young person.

The successful candidate for this role will meet all requirements and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the role and young adults in their care. You will also be flexible and punctual.

- You must have experience working with children and young adults from ages 10-18.
- DBS on the update service
- L2/3 in children and young people and/or relevant undergraduate degree


Hourly rate of £9-9.50, with the potential for a permanent placement, reward and recognition scheme, holiday pay, SSP and ongoing support from BS Social Care 24/7, 365 days a year.
