Essential requirements

Confident in hostile situations
NVQ L2/3 in relevant social care
Control and restraint trained
Experience in a similar residential setting with children and young people

Duties
This role will require you to support and monitoring young females in a secure unit and assist with their daily, general activities.

You must be a resilient character to succeed in this role, with a sense of humour and demonstrate confidence when managing challenging situations. It is essential that the post holder exhibits a huge sense of commitment in order to continually provide the best care and support for the young people in your care, who may display some complex needs, indicative of trauma and familial breakdown.

Benefits
£10 hourly pay with additional benefits including double pay on bank holidays, reward and recognition scheme, accrued holiday pay, potential permanent employment opportunity and 24 hour support, 365 days a year.
