BS Social Care Croydon are looking for experienced and qualified Children Residential workers to work in Tadworth

We are working with a number of OFsted Registered Childrens Homes, which provide care to children with emotional behavioural issues and mild learning disabilities. The services provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children who have experienced different forms of trauma.

We are looking for candidates who have a true passion for nurturing young people. We want to speak with you if you have experience working with vulnerable children in any OFsted registered environment. You will be expected to work in line with organisations` policies and procedures as well as being aware of national guidelines outlined by OFsted. Providing support and care to children with emotional and behavioural challenges, you will be able to manage challenging and at times, agressive behaviours by using your pre-existing de-escalation techniques. You will be able to engage with challenging young people, and show determination and commitment to those young people, with the aim to support them achieve their desired outcomes.

Children in residential care have more than likely experienced some form of severe trauma, which could be a result of issues including domestic violence, neglect, abuse, bereavement or family breakdowns, and more. My clients are looking for candidates who are aware of these types of issues, and the behaviours and challenges that children can present when trying to manage these issues. Understanding, patience,

ESSENTIAL
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with children
- Minimum of 5 years referencing history

DESIRABLE
- NVQ in childcare/Children and Young people workforce
- Bi-lingual / multi lingual applicants

£9.00 - £13.00 Per hour
