Support Worker - Brand New Children's Home in Salisbury
Salary: £12 per hour (+ £5 per hour for overtime) + £65 per sleep-in
Qualified Rate: £12.55 per hour + £65 per sleep-in

Join a growing team at a brand-new Residential Children's Home in Salisbury, where you can make a meaningful impact on young people's lives. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about supporting children with complex needs.
As a Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support within one of the UK's leading specialist care providers. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing environment for young people, focusing on therapeutic care and holistic support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children with complex needs.
- Work closely with the Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, and other team members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Participate in planning and delivering activities that promote growth and development.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
About You:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in health and social care, or equivalent desirable.
- Experience working with children and young adults in a care setting or a desire to do so.
- Understanding of Ofsted standards and regulations is a plus.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting young people.
- Must be a driver to a car.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 160 hours per month
- Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off
- Additional: Approximately 10 sleep-in sessions per month (paid at £65 per session)
