One of the largest Children Services are now recruiting for Residential Senior Support Worker for their 3 bed home in Bridgwater, Somerset. You will be supporting 7 - 18 year olds who mainly have EBD, traumatic / neglected backgrounds, learning disabilities, mental health, ASD, EBD, ADHD, self-harm and who will be verbally challenging.

Main Job Role:
- Shift leading / Staff supervisions
- Risk assessing and care planning
- Key working
- Offer therapeutic / emotional support
- Professional parental role
- Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
- Tailored programmes are designed to challenge, stimulate, teach and motivate

Qualifying candidates:
- Currently a senior support worker OR level 3 qualified with residential experience
- Must be a car driver with your own car
- To get the higher end of the salary, you MUST have experience and Diploma / NVQ / QCF level 3 in Children & Young People`s Workforce

Contract / Terms:
- Salary including sleeps is £24,496 - £26,576 per annum
- You will work 9/10 shifts per month of 2 days on and 4 days off but some homes do 1 on 2 off
- Shifts are 7:30am - 10:30pm (sleep) 7am - 7:30am/8am but homes are 9:30am - 9:30am. Not all shifts include a sleep so would finish at 11pm
