BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Children`s Home Manager within the Peterborough area. You will be caring for up to 2 service users with Learning and Physical Disabilities paying between £37,000 - £40,000 with bonus schemes.

About the employer; they are a growing, private organisation specialised within the children and young people`s sector. They support all needs including EBD, Learning and Physical Disabilities, challenging and complex behaviours. They have homes covering Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire and are growing with more homes being opened.

About the role; this role is for a children`s residential home, looking for someone to be a part of opening a new service as the Registered Manager. To ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and to ensure that the quality of care provided is consistent with Care Standards. To establish and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at all levels. To ensure that the home`s policies and procedures are adhered to and that resources are managed effectively. To be the responsible person in managing child protection concerns and complaints. To liaise with local authorities, school, health and other professionals to achieve best outcomes for young people.

About the ideal candidate; you will be an experienced Registered Manager within the children`s sector, with years of experience and past good or outstanding Ofsted ratings. You will be experienced in physical disabilities or SEBD and opening new services and supporting with the registration of a new service/assessing service users. Alongside relevant experience, you will hold a Level 5 Leadership and Management Children`s Residential qualification or equivalent, great knowledge of Ofsted, regulations and policies and procedures within a similar setting. You will need to be a driver with your own vehicle.

In return, this organisation will offer you a permanent and full-time position which will include on-call duties, Paying £37,000 - £40,000 DOE. They will support you not only with training but within your role to ensure you are confident that the needs of the home and the service users are being met and cared for.
