Job Description

** Operations Manager **
** Working within a children and young persons setting **
** Permanent and full time **
** £47,000 **
** Remote working but will be required to go into the Nottingham office when needed **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Operations Manager to line manage all Registered Home's Managers and provide strategic leadership and direction to all caregiving staff. This role is remote working but will be required to go into the Nottingham office as and when.

About the job;

To improve care practise, safeguarding outcomes, and care staff competency and work proficiently with all external agencies, including Ofsted and Local Authorities. To implement and enhance awareness of Children's Home Regulations 2015 and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
To line manage all Registered Home's Managers and provide strategic leadership and direction to all caregiving staff.
To be the Ofsted Responsible Individual for theOrganisation and develop care practise and achieve Ofsted "Outstanding" outcomes in all care homes.
To enhance the practice of all caregiving staff and improve the understanding of all care staff of regulations. To help implement and develop the Organisation's Therapeutic Model with the specialist team.

Level 5 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or a Health & Social Care Degree).
OR a Social Care Degree
Minimum of 5 years Children's residential social care experience
Residential Experience of a Children's Home as a Registered Manager for over three years.
Achieved a minimum of One Ofsted "Outstanding" Rating at full inspection as a Children's Homes Manager.
Experience of developing caregiving staff to the position of Registered Managers.
Providing mentoring support to Homes Managers.

This is a full time and permanent role offering £47,000 alongside a number of benefits.
