** £18,220 - £24,738 **
** Permanent and full time **
** Early; 7am - 2.30pm, late; 2pm - 9.30pm, long day; 7am - 7pm or 8am - 8pm **
** There is a night team but you are able to take on nights if you choose to to top up your hours **
** Residential respite children and young persons home **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a countrywide childrens charity for Project Workers to work in their residential respite short break home with children aged 5yrs - 18yrs of up to 30 children at a time. This also includes a council emergency bed.

About the employer; countrywide childrens charity.

About the job; this role is to ensure that every single child within your care receives the best possible care at all times. You will be responsible for following care plans and providing the child with activities that adhere to what they individually need. But the main part is to make sure each child is having fun, smiling and enjoying their stay at the home.

Your role will also include 1:1 care, personal care, preparing and assisting with breakfast, lunch and dinner, medication, day to day jobs around the home and being part of child in need reviews.

About the ideal candidate; for this role, it is essential that you hold a care qualification. This could be in Health and Social Care, Childcare, Children and Young People, Playworker and more. It is desirable that you hold some experience with children and that you are a driver but this is not essential.

Salary and benefits; for this full time and permanent opportunity, you will be offered a salary between £18,220 - £24,738 alongside a whole host of benefits such as being a part of a training academy that will offer masses to assist you in your role and in progression within the company if this is what you want.
