Registered Manager Children
Starting Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 P/A
Performance related pay on achievement of performance criteria
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum (plus 8 Bank Holiday's)
Hours: 40 hours plus additional on-call services (rota).
Responsible to: Responsible Individual and work direction from Group Operations Manager
My Client is currently recruiting for a permanent Registered Manager role for a Children's home in Oldham. The home offers placements to children and young people who have EBD and also require intervention on the therapeutic model. The Registered Manager will be responsible for all staff working within, or from, the Children's Home as identified by the Responsible Individual/Operations Manager. The Registered Manager will be supported by an Deputy Manager and the Senior Management Team.
The successful applicants will have the following experience, skills and knowledge:
Registered Manager in a Residential Children's Home for at least 1 year
Significant experience working in Residential childcare
QCF Level 5 in Childcare or Equivalent
Knowledge of the Children's Act 1989 and associated regulations and practice guidance
OfSTED bench marking and inspection requirements
Supervision or management experience
Management of resources including budgets, staff, building etc.
