Job Description

Children's Registered Manager

£30,000- £40,000

Bolton

My client is looking to recruit an experienced and passionate children's registered manager to run one of their homes in Bolton. This is in an incredible opportunity for someone looking to work for a rapidly expanding, regional company with incredible career prospects and benefits.

This is a mixed-gender home for 4-6 children with EBD ranging from the ages of 8-17. As the registered manager, you will be responsible for safe and effective running of the home, have a good knowledge and understanding of OFSTED standards and regulations and actively strive to keep the home within top quality standards. The company prides itself in providing exceptional care to the young people and you will be no exception. Your compassionate, nurturing ways will lead you to want to bring the best out of the home and all who live there!

You will be expected to carry out the normal duties of a registered manager such as supervisions, managing staff and rotas and budgets and recruitment of new staff and ensuring the home is safe and occupied to capacity. But this will be easy for you as you will be surrounded by a world class team and have the backing of the best directors around!

To be considered for this role you must have a level 5 qualification in management in the care sector and ideally have a level 4 childcare qualification. It is essential that you have had at least 2 years' experience in managing a children's home within the last 5 years. It would be advantageous if you could drive but is not essential.

You must be child-focused, caring, compassionate and willing to work flexibly. You will be a forward-thinking and problem solving will come naturally to you. You will have excellent organisational skills and always look to go above and beyond for the children and your team. It is important you can manage a diary, emails and basic IT packages so basic IT skills would be beneficial.
If the job isn't incentive enough you will be rewarded with an excellent salary, pension scheme, free on-site parking, and fully funded training for any extra qualifications you want to uptake and extra benefits. Not to mention the opportunity to work for a regionally expanding company with endless career progression opportunities.

This job will not be around for long so don't waste time in applying. Apply online today or email or call 0161 228 6168 to discuss further!
