We are looking to recruit 2 children's residential support workers for one of our regional clients.
After successful completion of our clients bespoke training; your role will be based at their new residential home in Leeds which will give you the opportunity to undertake a wide range of duties within the home. Our client offers bespoke 24/7 wrap-around CAMHS support packages for young people and residential care teams. The team all have specialist experience of complex young people in Tier 4 inpatient, residential care settings and community placements.
The team have particular expertise in managing transitions from hospital and secure settings into the community in as smooth a manner as possible as well as supporting the transition into adulthood.
By working alongside your team members & various other agencies to provide the best support possible to those young adults.
Previous experience in caring for children & young adults within a residential environment is essential, due to the nature of the role you will hold 12 months experience within a similar role or alternatively 6 months experience with relevant qualification.
You will hold an enhanced DBS ideally on the update service
Be able to provide 5 years references
You MUST be a car driver due to rural location of the home
Salary & package details
Initially your contract will commence on a temporary basis & be paid weekly via BS Social Care, following successful completion of your 12 week probation you will then become a direct employee for our client on a permanent contract.
Your contracted hours are 37.5 hours per week, please be aware that the service operates 24 hours per day 7 days a week, so a variety of shifts will be required including sleeps, waking nights, long days, early & late shifts.
Full induction training & support will be provided to all new staff members which will also include completing shadow shifts with other permanent staff members until you feel competent carrying out your required duties.

Starting salary 17,062
Annual Leave 22days + bank holidays
