Job Description

Are you passionate about care?

Experience working within a Childrens Residential Service?

BS Social Care are recruiting for Residential Children's Support Workers for a number of clients around West Yorkshire.

The ideal candidate will be confident and have experience dealing with Challenging Behaviour, CSE & Mental Health in a residential and outreach/community environment.

This is a very rewarding role and everyday is never the same!

The pay rates vary from £9.00 to £15.00 per hour, with holiday to accrue.

Hours of work will also vary, as you will be aware working in care isn't your typical 9 -5 job, so you may expect shifts to be mixed from days, nights and weekends. Flexibility is a must.

To be considered, you will need an Enhanced DBS on the update service and full UK driver's licence with access to your own vehicle.

We are really passionate about finding the right people to make a real difference in service users lives, we offer a temp of the month award for our most dedicated staff members, as well as Basic Life Support, Medication & Manual Handling Training (if required) and have a dedicated team to find you regular weekly work!

Look at what our August temp of the month has to say:

"I've worked through various sectors from adults to children, each have different challenges, I've never had a bad shift. I have met some lovely people and gained valuable skills and knowledge. Each shift is an experience and learning curve with plenty of opportunities to sample different sectors across support and care. There have been plenty of hours, office/ admin colleagues are always friendly and happy to help when needed"
