Job Description

Childrens residential support worker
Location: Southview, Outwell
Salary: £21,294- £22,916
Drivers essential

Hours: Full time permanent 37.5hrs
Required to be available for a variety of shift patterns including sleep ins.

Here at Brook street social care we present this exciting career opportunity as we work in partnership with one of our leading clients.

This residential service is home to 3 males and 1 female aged between 13-16. These young people enjoy a variety of different activities as well as spending time listening and talking to support workers who build a trusted and reliable relationship with each of the service users. There are some challenging behaviours in this service, support workers must be experienced to handle these situations and to be calm collective and understanding.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
. Demonstrate an understanding of complex needs such as autism/LD/behaviour
. At least 6 months experience in a children's residential setting or similar
. Able to work a variety of shift patterns
. Excellent communication skills
. Provide top quality care and support at every hurdle
