Job Description

BS Social Care currently work with a diverse range of clients; from small independent homes through to national organisations. We're established in providing support to vulnerable adults and children and are currently recruiting for children`s support workers.

You will be working on a 2:1 basis with young children with complex learning difficulties, mental health, behavioural and communication difficulties. You will be expected to support the children in their daily lives, these duties will include support in the community and activities with children.The client is looking for a committed support worker who can commit to 2 evenings a week, and a long day over the weekend. However, these hours may be subject to change.

The successful postholder will have NVQ level 3 in health and social care, or a relevant qualification.
You will also have an enhanced DBS on the update service
You must have at least 1 years` experience working with young children with learning difficulties and/or mental health.
You will be flexible, approachable, empathetic and proactive

This role offers £9.50, support from staff at BS Social Care and the client`s permanent staff team, opportunities for permanent roles, accrued holidays, SSP, and on-call support.
