Job Description

We have exciting new vacancies available for two Children's Residential Support Workers in our client's new 3 bed children's home in St Helens. (Please note the home is not yet open so you will be required to work in the sister home in Bootle for around 12 weeks)

You will be working in a residential setting providing 1 to 1 support to children with emotional behavioural disorder, antisocial disorder, learning barriers and mental health needs. In this role you will be emotionally supporting the young people by establishing an understanding of their individual needs, you will also be required to assist around the house with cooking and domestic duties and will take the young people to school, appointments and social activities.

Initially we would expect you to have at least 2 years' experience in working with children in a similar setting and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People. Additionally, to this you must hold a full driving licence and have flexibility with your working hours.
