Job Description

***Administrator Required***

We are looking for a chronicle administrator working for Leicestershire Police at the headquarters in Enderby.

Temporary role for an initial 6 months, full time - Monday to Friday (37 hours per week) - 8:30 - 17:00

Pay rate: £9.58ph

Must have worked for the police previously as staff member or officer and have good knowledge of their systems.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Evidential Property and Archive Team. Excellent attention to detail is a must with be able to work to strict deadlines, working with minimal supervision. Must be able to use own initiative. Must have excellent computer knowledge of all Microsoft programs (RSA 1 Word Processing or equivalent qualification required).
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and be prepared to use own vehicle for business purposes for occasional travel. Full in-house training will be provided.

Duties/responsibilities:
" Ensure that the overnight stores are correctly administered in accordance with force policy.
" To be responsibility for all cash (incl. counterfeit cash, mutilated cash and foreign currency) seized or found and liaise directly with the Finance Department.
" Maintain accurate and auditable paperwork and electronic records in relation to Cash banking. Including but not limited to Income Remittance Statement (IRS).
" To be responsible for property audits
" To administer the Property Management system. Updating the records to reflect the outcome of the audits and to task the responsible officers.
" Administer the internal EPAT website. Keeping it up-to-date and relevant. Making suggestion with regards to its content.
" Provide clerical support at meetings chaired by EPAT. Produce meeting minutes in a timely manner ensuring that they are assessable and filed in a structured way.
" Attend 1-1`s and departmental meetings as required, reporting back to the Team Leader.
" Undertake the timely amendments of records and run pre-prepared statistical reports from the relevant database.
" Use of Intranet to maintain personal records, i.e. Self-Service, MOPI & NCALT training, keeping informed of policies on Document Library.
" Use of telephony and Skype to make enquiries with staff and outside bodies re post/delivery requests.
