Job Description

Our long standing City client -a reputable underwriting organisation -is looking for a new member to join their 9 man team. They cover both marine and non-marine business but your role will primarily focus on property -US/International and UK, the emphasis on international and US however UK property experience would be considered.

Your duties would include

To investigate and resolve claims within authority to a successful conclusion, identifying recoveries or subrogation opportunities.

To co-ordinate Delegated Authority administration and structure, inclusive of DCA/ Coverholder on-boarding.
Support procedure development/enhancement and documenting in line with Lloyds Minimum Standards.
Negotiate and assess claims, liaising with underwriters, adjusters, brokers as appropriate.

Demonstrate good working knowledge of market systems (IMR), through to syndicate claims message.
Liaise with brokers/DXC to resolve queries and obtain further information on inward claims.
Provide detailed Management Information, as required.

Initially your settlement authority would be 150k rising to 250k depending on progress.
