Job Description
We are supporting a Lloyds broker with the recruitment of an experienced Claims Broker/Technician to manage their North American business. This is a hybrid role with flexibility
Purpose of the role:
- Management and control of complex claims
- Processing and broking of complex claims on in-house (GXB) and market systems such as ECF/Class
- Performing various tasks and ad hoc duties as identified by line manager
Main Duties:
- Process and broke claims on in house system (GXB)
- On receipt of claim notification, identify risk, review details in conjunction with coverage / wording afforded, acknowledge to client/intermediary, prepare claims file accurately and promptly and maintain in-house and external computerised claims records
- Monitor Underwriters responses via ECF or email
- Handle all aspects of Complex claim post first notification to payment
- Liaise with clients / TPA's and other third parties, ensuring relevant instructions are notified to Client / expert and vice versa
- Provide advocacy to Complex claims as required
- Identifying any potential errors and omissions if situations arise
- Reporting any claims difficulties immediately to management
- Building meaningful relationships with Clients, TPAs experts and insurers by dealing with them in a prompt, friendly and professional manner at all times
- Maintaining claims filing on DMS
- Keeping up to date with market and system changes
They are looking at candidates who have a least 5 years Lloyd's market Claims experience who can build long-lasting and meaningful business relationships with Clients, Underwriters and TPA's.
Ideally you will be a confident user of Global XB and ECF.
