Job Description

Claims Agent - Bristol City Centre

Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 37.5 hours
Mon-Fri between 08:00 - 17:30
£21383 with will be a performance based 5% monthly bonus

Purpose

As a Claims Agent you be dealing with customers who have made claims- such as having not received their goods or goods that have been damaged. You`ll working with like minded people who want to deliver excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiating and decision making skills who have the ability to work in a team or on their own initiative. They will also have excellent time management and have a good eye for detail.

Some of your duties include:
" To respond to customers correspondence promptly and accurately
" To be available for customer query and claims calls
" To send out claims forms up on request
" Process claims paperwork, timely, efficiently and accurately
" To investigate any request for claims by liaising with relevant departments
" To authorise or decline claims payments using a determined criteria and within guideline limits

Other requirements;

Negotiating - Ability to discuss subjects professionally and calmly to meet a compromise or agreement.

Decision making - Determines the best course of action.

In addition to your basic salary there will be a performance based 5% monthly bonus!
