Job Description


Brook Street are looking for a Claims Agent for the Bristol City Centre!

As a claims agent you be dealing with customers who have made claims- such as having not received their goods or goods that have been damaged. You will be working with like minded people who want to deliver excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiating and decision making skills who have the ability to work in a team or on their own initiative. They will also have excellent time management and have a good eye for detail.

Some of your duties include:
" To respond to customers correspondence promptly and accurately
" To be available for customer query and claims calls
" To send out claims forms up on request
" Process claims paperwork, timely, efficiently and accurately
" To investigate any request for claims by liaising with relevant departments
" To authorise or decline claims payments using a determined criteria and within guideline limits

Other requirements;

Negotiating - Ability to discuss subjects professionally and calmly to meet a compromise or agreement.

Decision making - Determines the best course of action.

In addition to your basic salary there will be a performance based 5% monthly bonus!

This is a full-time permanent role Monday-Friday 9am -5:30pm. And the salary ranges between £20,000 - £22,000
