Our client, a City based Lloyds Insurance Broker, is looking for a Claims Broker/Technician to join their team of 8. They are open to experienced candidates from any class of business with Lloyds Market experience.
Your role will be to provide support to the Senior Claims Technician, the Claims Manager and the Assistant Manager.
Your duties include overseeing and completing the production of new claims files, reviewing and assessing more complex claims anticipating any potential issues/queries and deciding on action required and reviewing claims received and providing feedback to placing Brokers to minimise future issues arising.
You will also be highlighting any potential issues to Broker prior to going to Underwriters, answering complex questions from Underwriters quickly and accurately, and negotiating with underwriters, attorneys and clients on complex claims. Additionally you will overseeing the receiving of settlements, reconciling funds and accounts, investigating any discrepancies that arise producing accurate and quality correspondence, providing regular feedback to the Claims Manager on the portfolio of claims.
We are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role with the Lloyds Market- this is essential. Verbal and written skills need to be of the highest standard to liaise with all levels of the business and third parties.
