Claims Handler

Full time, 37.5 hours per week, rolling shift pattern between the hours 8am-6pm on weekdays and then 4 hours on a Saturday every other week
Temp to perm, permanent job opportunity available
Location: Tonbridge (free parking), hybrid working available once training complete
£9.75 - £10 per hour

A leading insurance company in Tonbridge are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join as an Accidental Damage Small Claims Handler. This is a temporary position leading to a permanent job opportunity for the right candidate.

You will be working in their stunning newly refurbished head offices in Tonbridge (with free parking and fully equipped gym onsite), and once up to speed with the role, hybrid/home working will be available a couple of times each week.

You do not need any previous office or insurance experience. The successful candidate will be able to pick up computer systems quickly, have excellent verbal and written communication and have a keen interest to pursue a career within the Insurance industry.

Typical responsibilities will include:
" Assist policy holders with queries via webchat and telephone
" Build rapport with policy holders
" Asses the claim and check that the policy will cover
" Always provide an excellent level of customer service
" Seek the relevant authority approvals to process payments
" Manage a busy workload to ensure targets and service level agreements are met
" Liaise with internal departments and build relationships throughout the business
" Negotiate settlement of claims both verbally and in writing
