We are actively recruiting a Classroom Technician in Bradford. This role is 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday.
NHS experience desired.
The main purpose of the role is as follows:
" To provide support to all Clinical and Practical teaching areas - To include but not be limited to:
" A) Forward planning, set up, implementation and clear away of classes to ensure an efficient turn-around between practical sessions.
" B) Responsible for laboratory cleanliness, including organising the safe and correct disposal of all waste.
" C) Ensuring that the laboratories are left safe and secure at all times including the safe storage of equipment, drugs, and chemicals.
" D) Collating, organising and updating laboratory chemical lists, Standard Operating Procedures and relevant H&S information.
" E) Maintaining relevant inventories and maintenance of adequate stocks, including the ordering of laboratory supplies using appropriate systems and processes.
" F) Carry out routine maintenance on laboratory equipment including Portable Appliance Testing as required.
" G) Inspection of equipment and instruments to ensure they are working to specification, identifying faults and arranging for repairs.
