Education Authority Northern Ireland is seeking a Clerical Assistant to join their BMC Administration team in Ballymena, Co. Antrim; and Brook Street (UK) Ltd is now inviting applications for this vacancy.

The successful candidate will earn £9.77 per hour, work 36 hours per week from 0900 to 1700, Monday to Friday; will have the opportunity to apply for fixed-term and permanent roles directly with EANI while they're working in this role through Brook Street (UK) Ltd. In addition, they will benefit from:

The Admin / Clerical Assistant will provide routine administrative support tasks according to well-established EANI procedures. Examples of work performed will include:

  • Sorting and distributing mail
  • Photocopying, filing, posting, or proof-reading data
  • Answering telephone calls and relaying messages

Typical qualifications and experience sought by EANI for this role are:

  • Two GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent
  • NVQ Business Administration level 1 (or suitable administrative experience)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written

This is a temporary role but many personnel placed by Brook Street (UK) Ltd stay much longer than the initial term they were placed for, and many have been given contracts by our client already in 2021 and 2022.
