Job Description

***We are looking for an Clerical/Admin Assistant to work with one of our public sector clients***

Based in Coventry CV4

This a 1 year temporary position (with a possibility of extension) but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

35 hours per week between 8.00am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri

Pay rate £15.86 per hour (Age dependent)

Main duties;


To provide administrative support to Network Rail`s apprenticeship and graduate programmes and respond to general enquiries regarding apprenticeships. Update and monitor the Learning Management System (Moodle), overseeing student submissions for the apprenticeship framework, supporting the apprentice delivery team and apprentices with general administration such as enrolling, reporting and grouping and managing the moodle inbox dealing with general moodle queries from all users. Send routine communications to customers, line managers and business partners including timetable details, medicals, programme changes, safety information, HR information. Place orders and manage purchase orders in support of apprenticeship and graduate programmes in line with costs. Order uniforms and personal protective equipment, arrange distribution and exchange, so apprentices and graduates are equipped with the appropriate safety wear Arrange travel and accommodation through the booking portal for apprentice and graduate training Book routine apprenticeship/graduate training, bespoke training, end point assessments, and bespoke assessments for apprentices and graduates to meet training requirements. Be a point of contact for apprentices and graduates to answer general queries or signpost to the appropriate contact to enable clear communications. Undertake general administrative duties including photo copying, scanning, data input, post and couriering parcels
Ideal Candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:
o Administrative and organisational skills
o Customer focussed and strong interpersonal skills
o Microsoft and excel Desirable o Working with a variety of software systems
o Experience in the use of Moodle Workplace or other Learner management systems
o Experience in education and training environment
