Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Honington, Bury St Edmunds is seeking an experienced administrator to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The role is Monday to Friday starting at £7.83 an hour and rising to £8.45 after a period of 12 weeks.

The role will include but will not be restricted to;

Administration of all medical records for service personnel, including preparing paperwork for vetting, circulating patient records as necessary and preparing records for clinics.

Providing clerical assistance to Medical Centre staff as required, including word/data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning.

Keeping the reception area, notice-boards and leaflet dispensers tidy and free from obstruction and clutter and ready to receive patients by agreed opening time.

Taking minutes at multi-disciplinary team meetings

Maintaining Reception when required

Maintaining and monitoring the appointments system.

Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients and other team members.

The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator both verbal and written.

You will be required to have previous experience in Administration / Reception.

The rate of pay is £7.83 an hour, rising to £8.45 after a period of 12 weeks. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available.
