Brook Street are currently seeking an Admin Assistant to work for a government client, based in Newquay.
You will be providing reception duties within the Medical Centre.
Main Duties Include:
-Creating, maintaining and booking all medical centre appointments and answering queries from the reception desk.
-Answering phones, dealing with queries and taking accurate messages.
-Deal with the receipt, sorting and dispatch of any mail, parcels and medical documents.
-Direct visitors and patients to correct department.
-Advise patients on the correct routine and procedures.
-Carry out general administrative duties.
-Promote and maintain patient confidentiality.
Experience and Skills Required:
-Recent administrative experience.
-Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office.
-Good communication skills, both written and oral.
This is full-time, Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.
Rate of pay is £7.83 per hour, rising to £8.45 per hour after 2 weeks.
However, higher rate of pay may be offered from day 1.
This role is ongoing until Monday 13th May 2019, but may be extended depending on the business needs.
