My client, based in the Birmingham City Centre, is looking for an Admin Assistant with experience predominately in a Logistics, Storage and/or Distribution environment. They are looking for somebody who will provide routine administrative support according to well-established procedures, for example, sorting and distributing mail, photocopying, filing, posting or proof-reading data, answering telephone calls and relaying messages. Heavy lifting is also required so you must be able to do this without any difficulty.
You are required to have a full UK driving licence for this role. We will request evidence of this if you are successful at interview stage.
You must have some knowledge of Microsoft Office, more specifically Word and Excel.
The role is full time and will require you to work Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. You will be paid £10.35 per hour and this will be paid weekly in hand.
If you are successful for this role, you are subject to employment references and Security Clearance (SC). SC can take 8 - 10 weeks to complete so you must be available for work around that time. This is a temporary role which is currently anticipated to last 6 - 12 months, depending on the business need.
