Brook Street Recruitment are currently looking for an temporary Admin Officer to work within the MoD in Plymouth.
The Temporary Admin Officer will provide routine administrative support tasks according to well-established procedures.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Photocopying, filing, posting or proof-reading data
- Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
- Reception Duties
The Admin Officer main tasks are:
The maintenance of standards, routines and procedures for medical administration on behalf of the Senior Management Team to ensure the smooth and efficient administration of medical records, medical administration and force protection/generation recalls.
To assist within the reception service element of the Medical Centre which includes maintenance and enforcement of patient confidentiality and the security of all medical records and documentation held within the Medical Centre.
To cross cover other posts for short duration periods of sickness or any other absence to provide business continuity within the medical centre. This could include, Typing, Medical Board of Survey, Medical History Section and Hospital Appointments.
This Admin Officer position is a temporary position provisionally ending on 01/02/20 this is however, subject to extension. Working hours will be 0800 to 1630 Mon -Thurs and 0800 to 1330 Fridays only with 30 minutes for lunch daily. Paid at £10.35ph.
