ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER/SUPPORT ADVISOR

Working for a public sector organisation in Newcastle Business Park you'll be an essential part of a friendly and sociable team, providing administrative support
Location : Newcastle Business Park: Free parking on-site, Very accessible via public transport - number 22 or 12 that goes along Scotswood Road, then 5 minute walk to site
Hours of Work and Payrate: £10.37 per hour/ 37 hours per week Monday - Friday. First few weeks will be set hours 8-4/9-5, then they will introduce flexible working hours allowing temp staff to start between 7-10am and finish between 3-6pm.
They process applications for funding developments and will deal with paperwork and maps and offer bespoke administration.
This role does involve an element of customer service, as customers will call in with queries regarding their application and you may need to contact customers via the telephone to chase various documents / information.
Administering case files and processing claims
Dealing with enquiries over the phone and by email
Using tracking spreadsheets
To succeed in this role, you'll have excellent IT skills and attention to detail, be able to prioritise your workload through multi-tasking, and work to tight deadlines.
Please note that graduates looking to begin a career in admin will be considered for this role.
