Brook Street are currently recruiting for a temporary administrator to work with the DVSA based in Bristol.
The Administrator will work as part of a team providing support for the independently appointed Traffic Commissioner (TC) to enable him/her to undertake their statutory duties in relation to the licensing and regulation of goods and public service vehicle operators and vocational licence holders. In particular, the role involves the handling of the administrative arrangements for public inquiries, driver conduct hearings and impounding hearings and implementing the TCs decisions, directions and instructions; the provision of all relevant papers to appellant bodies; the drafting of submissions on regulatory casework; the issue of warning letters; Section 9 or Section 43 statements and ensuring the correct implementation and processing of in-office revocation cases. The post will also include the requirement to clerk Public Inquiry Hearings held by the Traffic Commissioner.
This temporary administrator role is currently ongoing until 31/08/20, paying £8.87 and rising to £11 after 12 weeks this is a full time role of 37 hours a week.
