Job Description

Junior Project Manager- Environment Agency

Location: Leeds City Centre

Salary: £14.62 per hour

Hours: Monday- Friday 37 hours per week

Overview

The suitable candidate will be part of a high functioning team working with Senior Project Managers, Delivery Partners, internal clients and external stakeholders to support delivery of key outcomes for the Environment Agency Key project locations based in Calderdale, Leeds, York and Humber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing objectives given from senior project managers
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Completing site visits (currently on hold)
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Supporting in site meetings
  • Managing mail inboxes

Skills required for the role:

  • Project management knowledge or experience is essential
  • Relevant Degree level qualifications are desirable e.g. Civil engineering
  • Strong IT skills e.g. using Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge of software such as GIS, Building information management (BIM) are also desirable
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
