Strong organisational skills can work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently (as listed below).
" Managing mailbox - pre-notifications and copies of documents received from Importers
" Managing timetable for visibility of day/evening consignments (support workforce planning)
" Organising documents for documentary checks, including printing and scanning
" Allocating documentary, ID and physical check task(s) to officers following the notification that consignment has been checked in
" Manage allocation trays - daily/week trays so officer can organise new imports; prepare for upcoming imports
" Customer contact: incoming and outgoing regarding consignments on telephone, email and 'front-door' to receive original documents.
