I have a fantastic opportunity for a Administrator based in Thatcham. This role is a temporary assignment for initially 11 months with view to being extended thereafter.
Key Responsibilities, but will not be restricted, include:

The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report

Overseeing administrative procedures and processes

Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required

Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources

Preparing routine correspondence

Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility

* Provide clerical and administration support.

* Act as secretary at meetings, including issuing of calling

notices, preparation for meetings, accurate recording of minutes, and timely production and

distribution of minutes to ALL relevant personnel

* Undertake accurate weekly checks of fuel furnace oils, liquid petroleum gas and other utilities

(electric and water) recording figures, submitting accurate meter readings, and order stock

when necessary. The cross-referencing of all utility bills against delivery notes and or

consumption figures is vital.

* Assist and support the accommodation manager, maintaining the accommodation booking

database for Denison Barracks when required. Co-ordinate and programme bookings from

internal and external agencies when authorised by Line Management chain.

* Undertake additional reasonable requests deligated by the Line management.

Must be competent taking meeting minutes and using MS Office basic package.


Additional Criteria/Skills

Typical qualifications and experience:

Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)

NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)

Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office

Good communication skills, both oral and written.

Salary: £7.98 per hour plus holiday pay
