Job Description
My government client is looking for an admin officer to join one of their busy teams based in Oldham.
This is a temporary role for upto 6 months, at a rate of £11.19 per hour
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report (HS1 incident management process)
- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
- Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
- Preparing routine correspondence
Typical qualifications and experience:
- Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel ,email. Experience of Power BI and S forms would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS and provide three years worth of references.
