Job Description

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Client Experience this role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships, understanding the Corporate Client's strategic agenda and managing commercial terms with Clients. This includes ensuring that relationships are managed in accordance with the Corporate Governance arrangements agreed with the client, that the Client has an effective conduit for relationship matters and escalations, and that all contracts and work orders are accurate and that the pricing is profitable and appropriate. In addition, the role holder will assist in supporting the onboarding process of new Corporate Client relationships. Client Account Managers work closely with our clients' point of liaison, helping in the delivery of a consistently high level of service. Success will necessitate building an understanding of the client's business model and the services that we provide for them and recognising opportunities to cross-sell new and existing services across the client base. Strong communication skills are essential and the ability to build good working relations at all levels within a client organisation. Comfortable operating at senior management/executive level is a key requirement of the position.

Our client has been servicing the financial services industry for over 15 years. They are highly regulated and have one of the highest levels of authorization from the UK Financial Conduct Authority. They are market leaders in the back-office outsourcing services to stockbrokers and wealth managers in UK and Europe


TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • You will liaise with a number of Corporate Clients and communicate effectively at all levels within those organisations.
  • Encourage and drive consistently high levels of service to Corporate Clients.
  • Recognise opportunities to cross-sell new and existing tools and services across the client base, by having a clear understanding and appreciation of the Corporate Client's strategic direction.
  • Ensure that all contracts and work orders are accurate and that the pricing is profitable and appropriate.
  • Manage conflict proactively and effectively, achieving pragmatic solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and align and/ or integrate operational and business solutions.
  • Liaise with other business areas to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
  • Proactively manage disparate expectations and demands of different Corporate Clients.
  • Organise regular structured updates and reporting both to Corporate Clients and the Head of Client Experience.
  • Represent the stated interests and requirements of all Corporate Clients objectively in appropriate forums.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a similar role ideally within Financial Services and knowledge of the associated regulations.
  • A track record of demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maturity, integrity and the ability to work independently to achieve objectives with the minimum of direction.
  • Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Decision making in a high-pressured environment.
  • Self-motivated and a proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build long lasting professional relationships with colleagues and Clients alike.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Results orientated and client focused.
  • Strong team player who works collaboratively with others.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
