Job Description

Our client is in search for a Client Account Manager, who has the experience to demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles, technical skills and exceptional communication, alongside excellent time management and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service. You will have the opportunity to earn a basic salary between £32,000-£40,000, the role offers hybrid working where you will be required to work up to 3 days in the office.

THE ROLE
This is a very exciting position which offers you a range of excellent career development opportunities in a stimulating, training environment. You will build your own client relationships while supporting and shadowing experienced Client Managers in all aspects of accounts, tax and business advisory work. Hone your accountancy skills to become a valued business adviser. You will be part of the Cardiff team, developing new skills alongside a Xero national award-winning team and be based in the South Wales Hub office.

TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Managing a portfolio of client and advising on all aspects of their business to help them grow, reduce tax and plan for the future
- Attending client meetings to review performance and set targets
- Reviewing work for Juniors and assisting with training and development
- Winning new clients and building strong relationships with existing clients
- Managing all aspects of client relationship including, quoting, agreeing services, invoicing, payment method and annual engagement renewal.
- Reporting to board on portfolio performance and internal targets met.
- Assisting in the production of Management and Annual Accounts
- Providing Xero training and support on a range of digital solutions to client
- Related administration duties as required
- Xero Adviser Certification is advantageous, although other cloud accounting experience will also be considered.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must be AAT/ATT L4/CIMA qualified, or ACCA/ACA qualified/part qualified
- Ideally 2 years practice experience.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional technical skills

HOURS
35 hours Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm
