I am currently recruiting for a tenacious and well-spoken Client Manager to work within the busy Accounts and Business Tax department at my client`s Peterborough office.
You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for the smooth running of any professional work associated with a portfolio of clients, to include accounts and business tax clients. You will be keen to seek new business opportunities for the firm as well as identify new service opportunities to grow existing accounts.
As Client Manager, you will be responsible for the line management and development of junior members of your team, creating a culture of trust, positivity, and continuous improvement.
Some of your principal responsibilities will include:
" The planning and reviewing work to be undertaken on client matters by staff members
" Ensuring client-handling directors are kept fully informed on the monthly progress of the areas within your work stream
" The coordination and organisation of a monthly Accounts committee meeting
" Controlling any work required on a range of non-audit accounts and business tax jobs
" Writing professional letters, reports, and other written submissions to be reviewed by directors for use with clients
" Recruitment, training, and development of more junior members of personnel and conducting regular and constructive appraisals of their performance
" Involvement on an ongoing basis with administrative activities such as billing and contacting clients regarding non-technical issues such as the collection of debtors
" Maintaining and further development of any technical and personal development skills through your regular attendance at company-led training seminars
To be considered for this vacancy you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 2-3 years of post qualification experience.
