Job Description

This is an opportunity for someone who has multi-modal Freight experience to join an International Freight Forwarder based in Manchester.

The main focus of the role will be to maintain and grow the sales and gross profit of the branch through contact with clients and management of the branch customer service programme. You will directly support sales and operational staff.


Responsibilities will include:
Identify new development opportunities
Retain and develop all branch customers, working closely with the Sales and Account Managers
Develop excellent business relationships to meet client expectations
Manage the data in the CRM ensuring this is accurate
Review monthly branch reports and monitor customer trading patterns

What you will need:
A minimum of 5 years industry knowledge and multi-modal experience with sound operation knowledge in Air, Land and Ocean
Commercial awareness
Superb communicator
