We are now looking for a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic Clinical Lead. You will lead, guide and mentor staff at an in-patient service offering a tier 4 personality disorder Service to women in the Yorkshire and Humber area.
We provide treatment and care to individuals with a diagnosis of personality disorder, delivering all interventions within a clinically effective and coherent framework.


We have a robust MDT in place consisting of a variety of disciplines including a Consultant Psychiatrist, Consultant Psychologist, Nurses, Clinical Development Specialist support staff, OT's, and an Assistant Psychologist. Playing a key role in the multi-disciplinary team, you will lead on evidence based frameworks and treatments, including adherence to NICE guidance. For the suitably qualified and experienced individual, the professional challenges will be significant and varied.

Duties
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team on the co-ordination and continuous development of treatments, care packages and risk management plans for our Women. You will ensure all aspects of Clinical Governance are adhered to, leading and guiding on the consistent provision of high quality care and treatment.
On a day-to-day basis you will lead and manage the nursing team, including guidance and mentor-ship on all aspects of the Woman's pathway. You will be responsible for all Clinical Audits. You will take a lead role in conjunction with the pharmacy team to provide safe and effective medication provision. You will be responsible of the general day to day operational running of the Service and its delivery.
You will be expected to deputise in the Operations Managers absence and take part in an 'on-call' system. You will participate and oversee MDT reviews, the CPA process and any tribunals or Managers Hearings required for detained Women. Acting as a professional role model, you will receive supervision from the Operations Manager, take part in Clinical Supervision and offer supervision and appraisal to the RMNs.

" a proven track record of managing a nursing team in either an inpatient or community setting
" knowledge and some experience in formulation and assessment of women with a personality disorder
" a good knowledge of quality standards, including monitoring and reviewing current clinical guidance and practice
" the ability to demonstrate experience in working with women in a psychologically informed manner
" knowledge of Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
" excellent time management and IT skills
" good communication and organisational skills
" the ability to promote a role model for others in the delivery of high quality person centred clinical care
