Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of personal injury, medical negligence and employment are looking for a legally qualified Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their diverse, dynamic team based in their Slough office.
The successful candidate will have a desire to develop their knowledge and abilities within the sector and will be responsible for covering all aspects of case preparation and be able to come into the role and hit the ground running.
The focus of the role is on fantastic client service; therefore the successful candidate will have a real commitment to helping our clients and making a difference.
Prior experience on good quality claimant Clinical Negligence matters (1-5 years` experience post admission) is essential. As well as high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a passion for the law.
Responsibilities:
Assessing Tribunal matters as well as early conciliation matters
Drafting pleadings, witness statements and relevant applications
Dealing with all aspects of document disclosure and creation of bundles
Liaising with Tribunals, Claimants` representatives, clients and ACAS
Providing advice on case prospects and achieving commercially favourable settlements Conducting preliminary hearings by telephone

Person Specification:
Current Practicing Certificate in place (no conditions attached or regulatory body`s restriction on ability to practice)
Prior experience on good quality claimant Clinical Negligence matters (1-5 years` experience post admission)
Strong academic track background2

A positive approach to a busy workload.
Ability to work autonomously and self-manage.
