Collections Advisor - Motor Finance
📍 Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 2 days on-site/week)
💰 Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
📅 Full-Time, Permanent | 35 hours/week
🕘 Shifts: Mon-Fri, 8am-7pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8am-12pm
🏖️ 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays
🚀 Start: ASAP (post-compliance)
📚 Training: 3 weeks on-site, then hybrid

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and empathetic Collections Advisor to join our motor finance team. You'll support customers in financial difficulty, helping them find sustainable repayment solutions while ensuring compliance with FCA guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Speak with customers in arrears to understand their financial situation

• Carry out Income & Expenditure assessments

• Create realistic and affordable repayment plans

• Identify and support vulnerable customers

• Ensure compliance with FCA, CONC, and TCF standards

• Provide feedback to improve customer experience and processes

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Experience in arrears or financial services

• Ability to support vulnerable customers with empathy

• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping
