Job Description

Based in Old Trafford the overall purpose of this role is to provide financial and strategic support to senior management including the analysis and modelling of key business and market trends preparing financial presentations, acquisition analysis and other projects. As a Customer focused technology driven organisation you will support key commercial, operational and technical programmes that will shape the businesses future. Business Partner support cross all product groups.

Responsibilities will include:
Commercial Analysis:
Act a business partner analysing financial management information and using commercial experience to provide decision support and guidance to managers across the business;
Develop KPI & Cross Business Report Suite analysing key trends and working with business managers to understand and leverage the analysis.
Develop Financial Models and Analyses to support strategic initiatives, planning, profitability reporting and cost control;
Develop and maintain business wide Key Performance Indicators and a suite of reports, explaining key trends to business partner;
Prepare ad-hoc finance reports and analysis;
Work with the business development teams to prepare commercial justifications for key commercial projects;

Budget and Quarterly Planning:
Prepare quarterly forecasting schedules working closely with the Commercial teams to understand and project the impact of key market trends;

Financial Operations:
Manage the Capital Acquisition and Control business within the business;
Support Operational Excellence programmes across the business providing finance insight, verifying the financial impact of the project and managing the project pipeline.

Coach and support managers within the business in financially-based analysis and decision making;
Maintain effective working relationships with budget holding managers within the business.

Skills and Experience Required:
Financial Qualifications, Project Management skills, capable of accurate and timely analysis of financial information. The intellectual ability to deal with complex and dynamic scenarios. Experience in a broad range of accounting issues.
