Brook Street are delighted to be working in partnership with a large consumer goods company, who are global industry leaders.

We are recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to join on a 6-month FTC, to support with the integration of new systems within their Finance Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work within a fast paced, innovative and progressive environment, ideally suiting someone with previous FMCG knowledge and sales accounting exposure, in a product environment.

Job responsibilities:
"Partnering and building a strong relationship with National Account teams
"Reviewing quarterly customer forecasting and annual plans
"Asses and develop the profitably of product launches
"Supervise customer budget and spend
"Ensure reporting and tasks surrounding this function are accurate and on time
"Action financial analysis on UK based projects
"Work within the team to innovate new functions with the aim of improving return on trade
"Assess customer pricing structures to maximise profitability
"Represent the finance function in customer facing environments, focusing on growth and profitability

The successful Commercial Accountant will have:
"Previous experience of working within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment
"The ability to multi-task under pressure
"Confidence in analysing data reports and challenging budgets and forecast
"Previous experience within Sales accounting
"Relationship building skills, both in and out of the finance function
"Passionate and innovative attitude

*In addition to the above, a useful, but not essential attribute would to be full or part ACA Qualified.

This full time, FTC role will be based from home initially with all WFH equipment and training provided however, must be flexible to work from the office based in Slough as/when required.
